ss.....positive on the weight, as I used an electronic kitchen that my wife and I have used to weigh other items and is extremely accurate. If, the only reason I weighed the Charatan was because it was light as a feather, and just had to know how much it weighed. It actually weighed in at 9/10 oz, but just round it up to 1 oz for arguments sake.
