All kidding aside, I've never seen JB Weld plastic epoxy/putty and bet it would have a ton of good uses: Where did you procure this treasure my friend?

Now that's a patch job. Take that one and smoke it at the pipe shop to ward off collector

pipe smokers. Any problem with weird fumes? I really admire your loyalty to your cob.

I thought I was being faithful just replacing the stem, but this is real devotion.

Got the putty at a dollar store, but I'm sure any hardware store should have it
I'll have to look for it a bit harder next time. Hope it being a a dollar store doesn't mean it's a discontinued item.
