My new WGM DAN98 Double Silver Meerschaum

My pipe from WGM arrived today. This pipe and WGM was created by Mustafa Albayrak who is a master caver and has done pipes for IMP. I have 2 other meerschaum pipes a Emin MeerQueen and a Tekin Diamond Series MeerQueen. This pipes quality is better than both of the others and they are good pipes. The block is from Margi & Sarisu (Turkmentokat) mines in Eskisehir and I can tell is quality meerschaum. The briar type stem is awesome as it is exactly like the briar pipe I had owned and seems perfect. I had a lot of questions before I ordered and the customer service from WGM go above and beyond. All my questions were answered promptly and I was kept up to date all the time. They really care about their customers. I am so happy about this pipe I am having them make another for me!!!

That is a lovely pipe. Beautiful clean lines. Smooth and functional without the feeling of smoking something that should be on the side of a medieval church. I hope it brings you many hours of restful contemplation.

İn what way that wgm pipe is better than meerqueen pipes?

Mustafa Albayrak is a great pipe maker and i know him well.From quality point we always try to be at the top.
İf there is something to improve then i am ready to do this

@meerqueen both my MeerQueen pipes are good pipes no question about that. The push/pull tenon system on the Emin is not as good as the Tekin MeerQueen or the WGM. The Tekin MeerQueen I can't pass a pipe cleaner through with the stem on at times. The briar type tenon on the WGM is outstand it really fits in well. I am also very impressed with the open draw on the WGM I get a better draw than my 2 MeerQueens. I still like MeerQueen and will continue to use them. The quality of the MeerQueens are good but in my opinion the WGM is better.

Thank you for your comments and warnings.Although our all pipes pass from quality tests sometimes we are missing somethings.We will be more carefull.

Just a quick note that we use traditional connection system on our golden series and we use briar type teflon tenon system on our diamond series with acrylic stem.

We have been still improving our diamond classic series.

Your suggestions direct us to create perfect pipes for sure
