Just a few weeks ago I started a thread about my affinity for the Apple shape. Well, I’ve already broken that and picked up this lovely bent pot by Savinelli. I was looking for something with a wider diameter bowl for English blends and/or Burleys to see how much the size would affect flavors. This thing is down right cavernous.

Think I’ll pack this with some Pegasus later.

Great pipe, great tobacco choice. Waiting to hear how you think it affects Pegasus. I haven't owned a pot shape since I discovered the blend.

Pegasus has been my favorite blend as of late. I just finished my first smoke and I don’t know if it’s the pipe, trying to smoke extra slow while braking it in or a combination of the two but it was fantastic. I plan on only smoking Pegasus in it for a while in order to break it in. In fact I think I’m going to stick with Pegasus for a while in general to get a feel for how it compares in the 622 to my 207 and my cob.

Wondering how I haven’t seen this post yet, must have been slacking. Yep, that’s is one good looking pipe right there. And I was just talking to someone about how I don’t really like the pot shape. Guess it’s because when I think of a pot I only seem to ever think of a shorter pipe with a saddle stem. That’s just my inexperienced imagination I guess. Man I do love the way that looks. Great choice!
