Fellas- I just bought this meer. It's a Strambach Vienna brand. This is my first Meer. I was looking for a more conservative, traditional style rather than the highly ornate carved ones--just suits me better. I've had a couple meershaum lined briars and was'nt too impressed. Can't find alot of info on this, I'm not sure how old it is.

Anyone out there have any experience with these. I gave $40 bucks for it including shipping.

Wow, that's a great-looking pipe. Sorry, I don't have any info on them either. I hope it smokes as good as it looks.

That's super and a true bargain. I hope that gives you hours of pleasure and rewards you with a delightful golden yellow meerschaum coloring.

Excellent Pipe...! It's a pre-mid 70's pipe. Lots of pipes were made in Vienna before the exportation of meerschaum was banned in Turkey about that time. Your pipe doesn't appear to be beaten up or scratched. What A Great Deal!
