I think that argument could be had. But, as it's initial shape was to be a "Fan" proper, and a flaw dictated a slight change, I personally think it fits more into the Fan "variant" as the proportions are closer to it than a Dublin. Just my 2 cents.

Well, Fan Variant sounds better than Chublin.

Big fan of the big fan! It's not so much that I would want it in my collection personally....its more just that it is a beautiful piece of work, and uniquely so.
