Pleased to hear you're getting a fairly decent smoke duration as the small chamber size was one of my concerns that's held me back from getting a Falcon. Is the white stem a standard option or something you have to get specially made?

You can get chimney bowls with a .79" X 2.25" chamber. That oughta be a pretty long smoke!

Nice. They are a great one to have for certain times and certain blends. I have modified some of my brair bowls by sanding the bottom to give a little more air flow

Bengal you have hit the nail right on the head. Only thing missing in this picture is a flat cap and the Blackpool Tower in the back ground and tea stall. Maybe a fish and chip shop selling mushy peas!

Derailed is sometimes a good thing. About bowl size, I find some of my other pipes, some briar some cob, with smaller bowls than the one that came with my Falcon, deliver some good smoking, longer smokes with flake/coin/plug/rope, and good shorter smokes with loose tobacco. I'd call the Falcon bowl I have medium small. Compared to the Pete Belgique and small cobs, pretty commodious.

Just received my first falcon pipe. Finishing up the first bowl with H&H Louisiana Red. I have to say this is the best smoking pipe I have ever experienced.. I kind of feel like a douche smoking it though. Maybe of I get a black coated one it won't look so obviously metal? But again, nothing...

Yeah, the bright aluminum shank does look like a plumbing fixture, so I took the plunge (no pun intended) with the darker color shank/airway. That pipe in the earlier post with the twined shank, white bit, and Meerschaum bowl is uptown. So you have choices.
