Thanks a lot guys - very impressed with Floyd's work.
I simply can't believe his turn around time. FedEx and Amazon could learn a thing or two from Floyd.
Thanks Kashmir. That amazed me. When I saw it in the mailbox on Sat (I figured I wouldn't see it for at least another 4-5 days).
In fact, when Floyd said it usually takes him 24 hours to complete - I figured he meant after the 3 week waiting time - lol!
Damn Six. Your a classy guy, but I don't think even you can handle that much class hanging off your face.
lol! I wear a tux to make up for it!

Beautiful work, I also use Norwoods, very satisfied, even though the baton has passed on, Floyd trained him and I know he would not put anyone there who would endanger his reputation .Thom it's a Beauty.

That turned out great. Our B&M uses Norwood for all pipe repairs and I agree with everyone else as to the quality and turn-around time for the work. Floyd has brought several of my pipes back to life.

Wow. I've always loved the looks of Cumberland stems (I have one on my Sav Churchwarden) and seeing Floyd's work with your pipe has pretty much guaranteed that I'll be doing business with him in the future.
I also must wonder, why can't more companies in this world have the kind of customer service that almost everyone in the pipe world has? Added favors like a free polish of the briar or a free sample thrown in with orders and delivery times that make the Flash scratch his head are commonplace. I'm quite impressed with all of the people engaged in this hobby.
Congrats Six and job well done, Floyd!

Thanks a lot guys - this pipe was beautiful before no doubt, but this stem really sets it off.

Thanks a lot guys. Can you believe it, this is my first cumberland. Harris, I've been so jealous of yours and then Chris goes and posts his and I had had just about enough of you guys flaunting your cumberlands in my face lol!
btw: this cumberland is sweet. There is a real difference in feel from my mostly lucite stems. And tho I am not really a clencher, this one makes it easy.

Very nice, Six. For sure will contact Floyd Norwood about my old Canadian stem, and maybe get a Cumberland, if possible, to replace it.

Is that Norwoods Pipe repair in Clifton, Tennessee?
That's the one. And from what I can tell, Floyd is still running things, or at least all of my communication was with him.

Six, what a beautiful pipe with the Cumberland stem. Gorgeous. My one question is the White Dot. What material was used for the dot?
I love the overall look of that pipe. It is just a beauty and I know it will be a sweet, sweet smoker.

Thanks TS. From what I can see, it's a white rubber dot that's been embedded into the stem.

I have a problem; because of this forum, I've decided that Cumberland stems are my absolute favorite but I don't own a pipe with a Cumberland stem! I need to work on that.
