My New Buddy!

I just got a early Christmas present from my wife! She told me we were driving to West Virginia, just for a little time away...then surprise!

This is my new hunting buddy Lincoln! He is a Treeing Walker Coon Hound. To late for this season, but traing will start after the holiday's.

He'll take to hunting; it's in his blood. But his main duties may be companionship. These little ones learn their people with close observation and hard study. We're their food source and part of their "weather." I don't know whether I love 'em more when they are adorable young'uns, adults in their primes, or wise old nobles. The old ones have a powerful presence.
