Wow, K9shag. Wonderful Boswell. I own five Boswells now. Just got my little "Chubby Nose Warmer" yesterday (Jan. 5).
What a neat pipe it is. I just love it. The pipe's dimensions: Weight: 2-1/2 oz. or 63 grams; Bowl Height: shy of 1-7/8"; Tobacco Chamber Diameter: 3/4"; Length: Shy of 4-5/8.
What I have found with J.M.'s pipes is that they come to you ready to smoke. No breakin' in. They smoke great from the first match. I have five of his pipes now and I have yet to find a bad smoker in any of them. I think this has to do with the precision with which J.M. drills the holes in relation to the length of the shank and depth of the bowl. It all works beautifully.
