Very few of could pull off that look with such aplomb. You wear it well, though dangling price tags would be a plus.
Nope it was a Hee Haw standard along with the Empty Arms Hotel and KORN radio news.
The wife and I watch Hee Haw re-runs Sunday nights. Good old fashioned humor but the fashions are sure different now.
You're right about Minnie Pearl being on Hee Haw all the time, but she and her hat were old favorites on the Grand Ole Opry long before HH.

Ha ha, my wife has one just like that, that I occasionally will grab to gather tomatoes and peppers. She always gives me a "Howd-EEE!" when she catches me wearing it.
Nice hat ! My wife has one very similar - and after the last visit to the beach, it has been lying in the passenger side footwell of my car. I have been tempted to wear it a couple of times, when I am driving top down at an undisclosed speed, but maybe it will look weird on a 40 year dude with a convertible!
