The dude lives in the thumb of Michigan. There's not much to do there really, other than drive to Saginaw or Flint. Therefore, there isn't much to do...

Agreed. Especially where I live. Flint is like 50 miles away from me. There really isn't much to do. Also, I don't spend as much as you may think. I try look for good deals. My most expensive pipe was $75, and my second most expensive pipe was $45. The Turkmeer was only $34, and it's practically brand new.

I had PAD or a while, not so much now. I would like an Uncle Aurther Lord of the Rings pipe, and a nice cob with a long wooden stem and bit. So I ended up with my first pipe being a cheap briar wood no name but a great smoker, a MM, an Armellini, a Chippendale, a fun little fichermans briarwood no name, a pipestone pipe made of stone with a long wooden stem about 20inches (lol), a clay, and two meers. So PAD goes away once you have a few that you really like to smoke from. 8O

Justification in Moderation Young Padawan. Otherwise you will be doing till ya die. Life is to short to justify rather than enjoy the learning of everything.
