I just got back from the surgeon. It went incredible smooth. The laughing gas was fun. All I remember is Queen's "A Crazy Little Thing Called Love" playing softly in the background, and then I woke up as she was packing my face full of gauze and shoving me over into the wheel chair..
So far is doesn't hurt at all, but I'm still kinda numb.
Don't drink thru a straw. Don't drink carbonated beverages or alcohol. In fact, don't do anything that will
dissolve blood clots. I had four dry sockets and that is miserable.
Hm.. The nurse told me some lite soda would be ok.. The first thing I've had to drink in 12 hours was a small Sierra Mist.. It was nice, besides the fact it tasted like blood...
