Like you, I was the exact same way when I first got into smoking cigars and Scotch. I went for the most full bodied smoke I could find.I want to say the first tobacco that clicked for me was Gaslight or Quiet Nights. Just like Scotch, I wanted the kick your face in experience so I started with Laphroaig, Ardbeg and Lagavulin. A lot of people say that we should “ease” our way into these things, but, I don’t think I would have been interested in Scotch or baccy if I hadn’t started with the strong stuff.
