Has anyone smoked one of these stem repairs done with superglue? Do they last long term?

The guy I learned the stem rebuild from said he has made repairs over two years ago, and they're still holding up. He's also a clencher.
This is the entire button so it's possible it could break. Only time will tell.
This works just fine to fill tooth holes or small missing sections.
Adding a whole new end to stem isn't recommended. This was just for practice and passing the time on night shift.
