So, this is my first tobacco review post, and I will probably have most of the terminology wrong.
So, first thing you should know is that I am not very good about picking out flavors, either in food or smoking. I know when I like something, but I generally cannot pick up specific flavor notes, unless they are VERY pronounced. I do ok smelling raw items, but once they are cooked or smoked, it all blends in together.
My first impression when I opened this tin was that it smelled AMAZING! I clearly picked up the citrus and fruit notes, specifically a very nice cherry.
I smoked it for the first time in a brand new Meerschaum pipe. The smoke was mild, and a little sweet. I noticed that I am salivating a lot, and as a result got some gurgle. Not sure if that is a byproduct of not drying the tobacco or my first experience with Meer. I also got my first "sour" taste. Again, I am chalking that up to a lot of firsts.
Well, that is my whole review for now!
