My First Tobacco Order Has Shipped

I'm pretty excited!! My first tobacco order has shipped from smokingpipes.com. Cant wait to try some new baccy. Been smoking Amphora original blend since I started a few months back.
On their way are 1oz of Lane Limited Black Raspberry, 1oz of Mac Baren Vanilla Cream and 1oz of Sutliff Chocolate truffle. Also picked up a 50g tin of Irish Flake today, smells quite strong, not sure if I'm quite ready for it just yet lol.
What are your thoughts on my choices?

Wow - huge range of choices with aromatics on one end and a very strong flake on the other. Good way to sample the wide range of pipe tobacco flavors. Let us know what you think of each. Next order: some blends in the middle of those two extremes

Exciting times! The only one I've smoked out of those is the Vanilla Cream and I find it to be easy to smoke and not overly sweet. Hope you enjoy your purchases!

What a great statement; I absolutely agree. Sometimes aros turn me off but I always come back when I am craving something sweet.

I find the sutliff chocolate truffle to be one of the better chocolate flavors out there.

If you like the Vanilla Cream, order up a tin of the Vanilla Cream Flake. It's a lot heavier in flavor than the loose cut. It's one of the only aromatic blends that I keep in stock.

Irish Flake is the only one listed that I've tried; that one is a good hefty smoke. I usually only smoke it out of a small bowl, personally. That blend will sneak right up on you.

Be very careful of the Irish Flake. Make sure you have a full stomach and use a small pipe. I would cube cut it and if you have a Dublin, Apple of Billiard I would try one of those. Good luck.

I like the Irish Flake. You look like a tough guy - not a wimp like cigrmaster. I have no doubt you can handle the nic hit.

I'd be curious to read what you think of the Chocolate Truffle. I was very disappointed with that as it left an unpleasant sticky coating in my mouth. There was just a hint of chocolate and it was more of a powdery unsweetened cocoa than chocolate.

I received a sample of Black Raspberry from Smokingpipes with an order I placed last summer. After a couple bowls of Black Raspberry, I couldn't stop until it was gone. I ordered 20 ounces for cellaring.
I haven't tried the other blends.

The black raspberry is the only one out of the batch I have tried so far. Just an awesome smoke. Was cool, nice flavour, stayed lit fairly well and just an awesome room note. Hopefully I enjoy the rest as much as I did this one. Enjoy your next order rlunderhill.
