Hello All,
I just got my first Savinelli!! A rusticated Roma 616 ks.
I wanted to get a Savinelli rusticated in a 9mm drilling and that one fit the bill.
The thing is I'm not sure if the stem is acrylic or vulcanite; on Savinelli website they say that the Roma series have vulcanite stems...
But on SP.eu I found some models of the same series whose description says vulcanite and others acrylic. Mine said acrylic...
I don't have any vulcanite-stemmed pipes so I don't know, but it feels like acrylic to me, but I'm not sure.
So anyway here it is:

The 616 is a great shape.? The Romas use vulcanite stems. An easy tale is to buff the stem with your thumb until it's warm. If it smells like hot rubber, it's vulcanite/ebonite/brindle/cumberland.
