Juvat what kinds of blends do you usually smoke in your pipe?

I bought mine in order to dedicate it to two of my favorite aromatics, Stokkebye Dansk Black and MacBaren 7 Seas Black. I noticed while smoking those in a Dr. Grabow I have that has a wide "pot" shape to the bowl, that the flavor seemed to be much more pronounced. Especially compared with a more standard size bowl. With that in mind, I wanted to get something of a little higher quality and that lead me to the Savinelli.
When I first got it, I did smoke a couple of English blends in it just for heck of it. But I don't notice much of a difference in flavor in relation to bowl size with those types of blends like I do with aromatics.
