My first homemade Pipe

Well I have it all sanded and just need to stain and buff. I am not excited about it but hell gotta start some where. Here is the link to the album since it has a bunch of pics.

Well you done good. If it's a Nording it'll probably smoke great, no matter how freehand it gets.

i like the way you left some of the burl on it. whats nice is if you decide you don`t like it carve some more. jake hackert said if your not sure the way the pipe is going take a break and come back to it later. it looks nice and wait till you smoke it.

Thats awesome Duncan! Are you going to color it? And was that a Nording blank?

I used a dark stain after I had a break in bowl of course. It was a nording blank, might try a PIMO blank next.
