I recently arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for work. As I can't find any decent pipe tobacco here, I placed my first mail order from smokingpipes in the US, and ordered an 8oz tin of Blockade Runner, Morning Bayou, and Pirate Kake (as well as Plum Pudding just to check if it lives up to the hype). The package arrived safely today, and I was thrilled to receive it. I think customs must have opened the tin of Blockade Runner, just to make sure there was no actual rum in it. Since it was already open, I tried this one first, in my beloved ser Jacopo bent chimney. I was blown away by the taste, very smooth, good nicotine content, hints of sweetness, and a bit of spice through the nose, absolutely no bite. In the next few weeks I will gradually open the other tins as well, and post what I think. Forgive me if this is a very simplistic review of a blend that is very well known, but I just wanted to share how good it was, particularly after a couple of months of only smoking Amphoras, which is what's available here.

Yeah brother, you have entered the twilight zone (Saudi). Glad SP could hook you up! They are the best!
