My First eBay Sale

Today at 11am begins my first ever sale by way of eBay. It hasn't even begun and I'm already stressed out!! I kept it simple and clean with a dozen photos. It's going to be seven days of checking hourly and stressing. Of course I should just ignore it and check back next Sunday, but this is not in my nature to do so.

Looks fine. Nice and clean. The only thing that I would have added in the title was the year, for that person who's looking for a birth year pipe.

It's a good looking listing. I'd suggest some close-up pics of the stem for your next listing, some otherwise great pipes have chewed up stems and that's one of the first things I look at. Good luck!

Looks good to me, better than I would have done, and I've sold about five pipes on eBay. You'll certainly sell this one because of the low starting bid: many will bid just to toss their hats in the ring, knowing the price will go up. Recently I sold an Ashton with the "Buy It Now" option 15 minutes after posting--I accidentally priced it too low. As for looking often, it's inevitable, but fun.

I definitely would add a detail shot of both sides of the stem. And.... Bruyere is spelled incorrectly. But, sometimes that gets extra attention.

Corrected spelling. That you for that!! So far as the stem, I assumed that "unsmoked" would mean the stem is in mint condition. Is this not so?

I got this really cool device which holds an iPad or iPhone and allows you to position on all axis to take photos and even has a small LED spotlight on a gooseneck to allow for proper lighting. Really a cool idea.

And thanks MoJoe.... I must've taken a hundred photos and I've redone the listing maybe 50 times. Generally speaking I'm a confident guy, but not here. It's a lot like having money riding on a game, except it's your team and the game lasts for seven long days.
