Wow. She's a beauty -- love the thin, saddle stem. Curious to know what flake will make the maiden voyage.
Congratulations.

Thanks guys. I am planning on smoking a bowl of Fribourg & Treyer Cut Virginia Plug for it's maiden voyage. I am going to crack an 11 year old tin to celebrate.
Al, I have a bunch of group 5 Rad's now and they are all very light which is one of the reason I love his work so much. My first Rad was a group 5 Lumberman almost the same dimensions as this pipe and it weighs only 40 grams. He is amazing at creating lightweight pipes that have a nice sized chamber.

Wow, you have some really nice pipes, cigrmaster. If it's to your specs I'm sure its gonna smoke great. Now I must stop looking at any of your posts as I might just max out my credit cards to a point that I will never recover from. Hehe, enjoy the smokes, sir.

That's a lovely pipe! It looks huge (and really, it kinda is) so it surprises me that it's so light. Someday I'll get a commissioned pipe made. Someday...

Very nice! I've been eyeballing Rad's work for a while, his work seems to get snatched up quick. Perhaps comissioning is the way to go.

Very beautiful pipe. I learned about Rad Davis pipes from Smokers Haven in Columbus, OH. I bought two so far over time.
Please enjoy your pipe and thanks for sharing the pictures and statistics.

Guys, thank you for the nice comments. I am glad you are enjoying looking at this one. Rad takes some great pics, way better than I could ever do.
sergemoat, he does have a pretty good turn around time for commissions, I ordered mine in the middle of August and will be getting it tomorrow or the next day. I am always on the lookout for estate Rad's and there are not a lot out there. Dave at http://www.mkelaw-pipes.com/ has 3 there now you might want to check out and smokershaven had one last time I looked.
js, this one is a little out of your price range. lol

Adam, thanks for pointing it out, it is real pretty but I am more of a traditionalist and like the classic shapes. I am sure it is a great smoker and the price is very good. If it was a billiard, dublin, apple, pot I would be all over it.

Thanks Chris, if you ever see one you like you should grab one, they do smoke flakes as good as any shape I have ever smoked.
Adam, the more I looked at that tad pole from Al the more I kind of like it. I sent him a pm. lol
