My First Bones Pipe

fairly new to pipe smoking and have been using basic basket pipes thus far. bought my first Morgan Pipes Bones pipe (Brandesian style) and had my first smoke in it this morning. Really enjoying it. draws great, feels good in hand, and looking forward to see how the color darkens over time. i know its not a super high end make/model but a great addition to my growing collection

I'm looking into getting a Bones Oom Paul pipe after watching a video on You Tube.

I like the Bones concept, work horse unassuming pipes at a good price. Since more than half my pipes -- in briar, cob, and Mountain Laurel -- fit that description, I haven't ordered a Bones, but they look pleasing. If I were a new pipe smoker, or still had fewer than around twenty pipes, I can see myself ordering three Bones in different shapes.

A bones pipe is on the list for me at some point. I like the simplicity and price point. Heard little but good things about them so far.

I have several bones (three pictured here; two unsmoked and one after about a year of regular smoking), and I enjoy them quite a bit. They don't get as much use as some of my slightly nicer pipes, but they fill an important niche in my rotation. I certainly never feel like I'm 'slumming' when I smoke one.

Haha Cosmic. I will say, it was super easy to "drag and drop" that photo from my documents folder into the post. Nothing to it.

I love my Moran Bones Pipes! They are coloring wonderfully too!

Bones pipes are great for the price. If you feel inclined, they are also excellent for modification. I smoothed and rounded the rim, stained it, and gave the stem a more Dunhill-like taper. Very fun!
