That pipe is a beauty. Even if it was a beat up old no name, it would still be a beauty because of the story behind it.

Beneficence...It's a great thing.
I will probably NEVER meet any one,
Count your blessings. You should see the mob I hang out with now! Mick is drunk dialing, Chris put my goat in the swimming pool in an inner tube, Lonestar never wants to meet me, Kabong30 always tries to show up with the same pipe as me, simnettpratt calls the cops on me. It never ends!
uapiper gives me free baccy, though, so I guess it's not all bad.

I dredged this up to let you guys know that I broke this pipe!!! I was mortified and sick to my stomach at the same time! I called Walker Briar Works he informed me that he can fix it up with a Delrin teneon and assured me that it will be better than new. He also said that the new tenon would be very hard to break so I need not worry about it in the future.

BTW, This really did turn out to be an awesome smoking pipe for me and was dedicated to Balkans. I miss it already but will I will send it out tomorrow and will update the progress and post pics when I get it back.

Thats an awesome story and a great pipe spyder. That is one of the main reasons I am so addicted to pipes and smoking them. Each piece of briar has a story and will last forever. And im glad you can get that thing fixed with no problems! let us know how it turns out.

That is awesome, I am going to be experimenting soon with delrin tenons and fixing broken tenons. But I have some stems to cut first.
