Your still at the top of my list. I am curious though. You said your blocks are only so big. Is there a height x width for the exterior of the bowl? Also I love the really heavy rustification. Craggy almost. Can you do that?

nice looking pipe. Looks like a great pocket pipe for a guy on the go. Good for hiking or around the fire.

sorry meant to say is can you give me a maximum height x width.
I'd have to dig around through my blocks and see what I have on hand. I have some jumbo sizes in there, but I dont know how wide they will be. I will probably have another order of briar within a month, so I can add some if you will be awhile before you're ready.

Yeah I will. I want to see the whole process as well maybe some photos. I have never ordered anything custom other than a suit.

I like thick walled pipes, to me, they make for a cool smoke. I dig that "luck of the irish" nose-warmer Baron was talking about earlier...

When you get it made, post some pics and a pipe review!

I'm very excited. I honestly would like to get it made by a participating forum member. I know Lonestar said that others make similar pipes and I might want to look more into them but that just makes me want Lonestar even more! The mystery will make it all the more fun. Plus I think if he can pull it off it would show his skills and help him get future sales and I want to support forum members first.

I must say you are right. Photography is not a good career choice. I had my own photo studio for quite a few years. It's a glamour job so everyone wants to do it. The competition is fierce, the rewards poor, unless you become a star. And after a number of years you start to hate it. As far as the pipe goes, I would make the cherry myself, and if you like the way it smokes, have Storient make a meerschaum version.

I hate shooting people. My photography is mainly focused around night life and there seems to be no money in that. I guess it will stay a hobby. Do you have a website? I would love to see your work.

As for the pipe I don't have tools and I live in an apartment so I probably can't make it. If I like how a briar one turns out I will probably get a storient version eventually.
Also anyone is welcome to take my design and work with it. Make it your own. You can even post your pipe designs here. That would make this thread even cooler.

Photoman that looks disturbingly like the design I came up with for Briar Bird to carve.
But you know, great minds think alike ... massive chamber walls make for a cooler smoke.

Thanks, cigrmaster
John, That is close but the design looks a little messy to me.
lonestar I measured the the drawing as I drew it to the size I would like it to be. The outside measured 3 inches by 3 inches. Actually almost exactly 3inches by 3inches. I won't be ordering it for a while. Maybe by the time I can you will have a bigger block.
Zanthal, I didn't know you designed one. I would love to see a pic of it.
