Actually, I think its sandblasted. Cooke has an amazing technique. He actually sandblasts the pipe several times to get the grain to look like that.

I was shocked when I first looked in here Bradley. A beauty that pipe is, but appeared quite small for your taste. Then I paid attention to what I was actually reading and realized it's a beast! One huge beautiful pipe. Hope it brings many great smokes to a fine old Cajun.
