Very nice pipes, I especially love the first one. How does that clay smoke? I've been thinking of getting one.

Not bad the bowl Get exteamly hot and unless you have a stand you have to hold it. But I have fun smoking it.

Very nice collection. I am a big fan of clays as long as the cardinal rule of clay pipes is followed. DON'T touch the bowl . It's HOT!

Is the end of the stem acrylic or wood? I've imagined a clay mouthpiece wouldn't be comfortable on the old teeth.

All my clays have plain unglazed ends. For more comfort you can put some heat shrink tubing on them.

Nice collection, I dig the rustication on the first pipe.

The cob is great, I assume you dont smoke it but I imagine I could clean it up for you and restore it to smokable condition if you wanted me to give it a shot.

I've been working on restoring a few old used cobs (that are practically useless otherwise).

The biggest trick is using a negative ion generator to obliterate the ghosts that never seem to leave a cob otherwise. The negative Ions attach to, and completely neutralize the molecules that cause odor (as well as sanitizing the pipe. Pretty cool, and its worked well on the estate pipes I've used it on.

Thanks, I don't smoke the Cob It belonged to my grandfather its about 50 years old I think I will leave it as is but thanks for the offer. It holds allot of sentimental value to my Dad. He made me promise not to smoke it.

Sure thing. I remember you saying that it belonged to your grandfather, thats why I offered to restore it.

I understand leaving it just the way it is too.

You've got some nice pipes to smoke already!

Need to smoke some Blockade Runner in that old clay. Relive a 19th century smoking experience!
