I just posted the America for sale. I have a hankering for some older, far less reliable iron. That shovel chop posted earlier is what I'm thinking. PM me if interested, she's ready to ride coast-to-coast!

Took a short ride this morning....

Only about 200 miles, give or take... oh alright.... 300. :D

I'm still counting the bugs in my teeth.

No worries. All will be ok soon enough.

The bike my grandfather bought when he got home from the war. The same type he rode when he was in. I could never sell it on him though(its a 1943 42WLA).

There's a bunch of nice bikes in this thread!
Not to derail too much, but as a kid who's full of pIss and vinegar would anyone recommend a good starter bike?

Think i'm one of the small minority of bike riders on here without a Harley or Cruiser style bike, but then i am from the UK and we have a lot of those things called corners  We need bikes with higher pegs or we'd spend all day grinding them off on the roads
Here's my pride and joy

dd951,

Yes but not everyday. That is what my 2008 Road Glide is for. As you know, you have to keep it running in good shape to keep everything lubricated and such. I take it to parades and on military holiday and for motorcycle/car shows. On very special occasions, I wear a full U.S. WW II uniform(my grandads units and rank, etc.), to add a nice touch.
