Thanks, pipingruotsi ! I'm actually having my second bowl in this pipe right now, some Frog Morton On The Bayou ( first time trying that ), and I have to say, this thing smokes wonderfully! This is my second "pot" 'shape, my other is a vintage Charatan "348DC", and the Pete is definitely the better smoker!

Don't you just love the pot as a shape? It has that wide chamber and total simplicity, and the Peterson stockiness

just reinforces the shape, with the nickel band. Most pipe makers have a version of the pot -- Stanwell, BC,

and Savenelli do fine versions. The Peterson is a thoroughbred pot, and a complete Peterson as well.
