I'm loving that Barling. I don't know much about that brand - are they currently making pipes? Any idea on how old your pipe is? That is a very nice shape!

Is the Pete a 317?

Appears to be a "System Standard" with the normal Petersons company hallmarks, would imagine it to be nickle plate rather than the silver as listed in the description.

As for the Barling, classic little bent apple, least it appears to be a smaller one. Will make an excellent out and about vest pocket pipe.

Good news! it wasent a 317 this pete had a larger bowl (me happypants!)

The left is a 317 and right is one i tought was a 317 but as I said in the last post it wasnt. this one had a larger bowl. And had a silverband. but i dont know what pete nr it is.
