When I was smoking aro's, which I only do on rare occasions now, I ordered Bowell's Christmas Cookie along with Berry Cobbler and Pennsylvania Dutch treat (which I mentioned earlier - give it a try). Anyway, in my opinion, the Berry Cobbler has much more discernible taste than Christmas Cookie so just something to keep in mind the next time you place an order from Boswell's and are tempted to try the Christmas Cookie.
Either way, you are now doomed to continually and helplessly try every tobacco that looks/sound good to you. May the pipe gods guide you and show mercy upon your bank account.

You might try letting it sit out a half hour or so before you pack it. Aros tend to be more on the wet side coming out of the tin and need some drying time. Also, you may be puffing too fast and that tends to build up moisture in the stem as well. Try to slow your draw as much as possible. You may already do this but not knowing, I just know that this has helped me. Congrats on your new acquisitions. However, you have now contracted TAD and PAD, and there is no cure. You will be afflicted the rest of your life, as some here can attest to. Happy smoking!

I will let it sit out it is very moist. I will also keep Christmas cookie on my next TAD list. Thank you all I am one happy (prob 2 fast) puffer. I will try and slow it down.

Sorry, but such is the typewritten word. I was suggesting that Berry Cobbler (which you have) is better than Christmas Cookie so don't bother with the later.

Marine33, I've been following and enjoying, (thoroughly) your progress into pipedom and I'm delighted that it's coming together for you. It'll be interesting to read what you'll be into a year from now! Lol. I'll also take this opportunity to say Thank You! For your military service. Enjoy those new tobaccos and keep up with all the knowledge that can be absorbed on these threads from so many of these helpful folks. Love your avatar btw and would like to hear about that fine looking animal.

Thank you Settersbrace, it means alot that other people care about your serving your country. I have my dog Shadow as my avatar. She is "the other woman" in my life! She is an 8 month old solid black german shepherd. Love her to death and as I learn more about this fourm I will post more pics of her. I would not be here without the help of my newly found friends ive found on here. Im not even sure how to senc friend requests or I would of sent more to people but im learning so watch for notifications! In a year from now hopefully I will be able to pack my bowl better have more of an arsenal of n pipes and tobacco lol. I hope I can help the newbies on here and make them feel as welcomed as I was. Thanks again to everyone who helped me on my journey!
