Multiple pipes smoking

I had to move four pipes off the mantelpiece this morning because today we are cleaning up this house, buster. I wanted to carry my cup of tea and I was looking at the weather radar on my phone, so I put four pipes in my mouth at once for convenient transport. Naturally I wanted to see what this looked like, so I snapped a picture with the phone, and it got me thinking: how many pipes can be smoked at one time? I certainly don’t think I would enjoy smoking more than one pipe at a time, either simultaneously or in a tight series rotation, attempting to smoke them one at a time while keeping them all lit. But it made me think (always a painful and unwelcome exercise), and I figured I’d put it to this fine community as a concept to roll around for a bit. Ever smoked more than one pipe at a time? How’d it go?
Seems kind of antithetical to the “point” of smoking a pipe, from my personal perspective, but something about the idea keeps me thinking about it. Probably just looking for anything to think about besides dusting the house.

There are simpler ways to go about it. Several makers, Italian IIRC, make pipes with dual chambers for mixing and matching.
