Newbie here. You are setting my mind at ease, since I just ordered 2 pipes from Mr. Brog last night. After I hit the buy button I started worrying about quality so you have reassured me. Thanks.

I own several Mr. Brog pipes, along with several more expensive briars, and I love all of my pearwood pipes. My favorite pipe is actually a Mr. Brog. Really, especially when you are starting out, the Brogs are nice, because if you smoke them too hot and you get a burn out, it's okay - they are easily replaced.
