I have all the Christmas in July movies featuring a prince memorized, of course it helps that the plots are all the same.

They're great at scratching that one particular itch, but not something I could ever take a steady diet of. Mrs. Rookie, however, loves them and will happily watch however many Hallmark Christmas movies they care to make. Even the 5 or 6 without the kindly of man with the friendly golden retriever.

Watched Asteroid City with the wife last night. The runner up in choice was Amelie but my wife wanted to watch Asteroid City even though she is not a fan of Wes Anderson.

Audrey Tatau was perfect casting in Amelie and the film is a great candidate for a movie night with the wife.

I was watching Macbeth, on amazon video. I like the lead actor. He plays an incredible role, sometimes I imitate him when I drink whiskey. And my wife tells me to take a cold shower.
