I saw an interview with the actor who plays Joffrey, he is a pipesmoker also, but anyways, he said that GOT got so BIG worldwide, that he had a hard time travelling, because everyone hated his (his character's) guts so much.

I hated him too...but that's when you know he did a bang-up job. He made you hate him.

Dr. Chilton getting his comeuppance at the end of The Silence Of The Lambs was pretty satisfying. You don't actually see/know that he gets murdered, but given his track record i'm sure Hannibal did the business.
