Morning all, just joined the forum. I'm 54 and in the UK - Macclesfield, to be precise. Been casually smoking pipes for 15 years, but I seem to have taken pipe smoking up seriously in the last couple of years. Got about 20 pipes and a hankering for aromatics. Nice to meet you all and happy puffing. ;-)

Forty-five here and a pipe smoker since '91. At one time I owned one hundred eighty-seven pipes but now down to around fifty. Primarily a Virginia/Oriental and aromatic smoker myself.

Welcome from Chicago! I just visited your fine country (the home of Kate Beckinsale, McLaren & BAC Mono sports cars and my Dunhill pipes) in August. I learned a few things. 1. The food is as awful as reported. 2. The countryside is stunningly beautiful. 3. Architecture is amazing. 4. Your toilet seats are all too small but your toilet paper is better than ours. If our two countries shared our toilet technology, we'd be unstoppable!
