I keep it simple ... either Sutliffe Match Sunrise or a parfait of Lane 1-Q with Sutliffe 507C on top. Once in a while straight 507-c. Whatever I start I finish throughout the morning.
Reading this thread, I'm quite surprised to learn how many Americans drink tea. I had thought that an unfortunate disagreement in Boston some years ago about tariffs and duty and so forth had rather put you off the stuff and you had become a nation of confirmed coffee drinkers. Nothing wrong with PG Tips TBF. I drink Thompsons breakfast tea in the morning and Twinings Early Grey or Lapsang Souchong at other times. There's a few of us! After my morning pipe I start every day with a cup of PG Tips, with about a teaspoon of sugar and a tiny splash of milk. It's not fancy loose leaf, but it's what I like.
