I guess I'm weird, I really don't get the spring, summer, winter, fall, morning, noon or night smokes.

There are several blends I like and have on hand, I just reach for the one I'm in the mood for no matter what time of day or year it is. So, I guess that makes me a moody piper.

I understand what you're saying! For the most part I agree, I just stay away from heavy loads in the morning, go with a light burley and gradually step up the octane as the day proceeds😉

Pegasus is a usual for me lately before i even get up and moving. Burley blends are my jam after breakfast with coffee, too. Penny Farthing and Mycroft are usual morning offenders also. Then on to all the other flavors throughout the day.
Many have mentioned Pegasus which I would also include in the enjoyable morning smoke category, but I recently tried Old Joe Krantz and enjoy that as well. It reminds me of a home blend I made once. Pegasus with more tang! Hello perique. Give it a try!

I'm weird too I get it. I guess it's along the lines of time and place for me? I can be moody in my own sort but I dont eat breakfast at dinner or dessert before mains if you catch my drift. I like a time and place for certain smokes like I enjoy time and place for most other things. Like reading before bed. Idk with so many blends I enjoy placing them where they belong, for me. Cheers!

HH Rustica with my second cup of coffee, prior to breakfast, is one hell if a way to start the day.

I don’t regularly smoke in the mornings, but most typically reach for a burley base or Virginia base when I do. Most mornings I just drink my coffee in silence, trying my best to wake up lol

As mentioned, my morning options with coffee include KBV Burley Morning Pipe and Cowboy Coffee as well. But I also include a light english like HU English Breakfast or LJ Peretti 110 to the mix.

Coming from a cigar background to pipes about 2 decades ago, i've been a burley fan pretty much from the get go. Haunted Bookshop and OJK were regulars in my briars. 👍

I've yet to find a (non aro) tobacco I don't love with coffee.
I also tend toward burley forward blends with a black coffee. Right now I'm enjoying Pegasus in the morning. Haunted Bookshop for a bit more strength. SWR goes fantastic with coffee. Doblone D'Oro is my default.

Prince Albert (USA production), Haunted Bookshop with a 25% addition of a red VA, or Home & Hearth Anniversary Kake fill the bill.
