i'd be pissed that they didn't take enough the 1st time...
buddy bob, a fellow pipe smoker, had to go back in for 3 amputations on his foot before they got it right...
good luck brother and hang tight.... you will be able to sneak out for a smoke before you know it.

Irish, we're all gunning for you buddy! As wiser folk than I have said, let them poke, prod and do their thing; fix you up right. I know it can be frustrating, but frustrated is a whole hell of a lot better than the other option.
Have you tried nasal snuff? I've found it helps my mood immeasurably when I'm stuck in the hospital - if you would like I'll drop a tin in the mail.

Irish you've already proven that you're one tough SOB, with the heart of a lion. I wish you nothing but the best and I'm sure glad that you fought on our side.

Irish, this is for you.A long time ago I was laying up in a hospital bed, and every morning a captain (woman) would come in and check on the bad cases, she always had a big spoon in her lab coat pocket and I wondered what it was for, one morning she was checking a young man across from me her hand slid under the sheet and a huge erection pulled the sheet up, without missing a beat. She took out the spoon and whacked it hard, it fell like a lumberjack felling a tree, so Irish don".t get spooned HaHa Tbradsim the old cajun

Lmao I just offered a nurse $20 if she would roll me outside and let me have a bowl of Irish flake. She wouldn't have it.
I think in your situation I would be thinking "gonna try and get it right this time, Doc?"

Well everything went well. They didn't have to take much more. Hurts like hell again but I'll be ok!

Sorry to hear about all the crap youve been dealing with, that is quite the sacrifice youve made and everyone here is grateful.
Hang in there, keep puffing
