It's amazing (and disconcerting) how many comments there are on YT for this video of people who believed it to be real.
People believe a lot of bullshit these days...
Some people around me have brain damage from social media.
Some people around me have brain damage from social media.
I've discovered that it is sometimes difficult to have a conversation with people who subsist on a diet heavily vested in social media.
It used to be, "Believe none of what you read, and only half of what you see."
Now, and forevermore (or until the next Carrington Event equivalent), it's "Believe none of what you read and none of what you see."
It's good thing that human weapons are still only pointy sticks and cutty things... Imagine what it would be like if "reality" could be synthesized (so to speak) by manipulative people, and weapons could reach anywhere on Earth with the push of a button. And there were biological as well as mechanical ones.

If you go on twitter and post that with a picture of a thoughtful person doing yoga, the hive mind may pick it up and decide to believe it. Haha
Never! They would never believe "they" would turn off the phones.
Social media, along with influencers sponsered by nefariously agenda'd benefactors are seriously undermining our society. That coupled with the absolute lack of critical thinking that schools can impart on students because the overwhelming numbers of parents who can't even parent, make me worry for the future.
