Peck is a champ

He wears the big boy pants

He isn't a fairy, that's why he uses blackberry

You'll be all alone, with your IPhone,

Your fingers will be all cramped

Okay, and now a word on behalf of Blackberrys. I worked for an organization where these were assigned to people (a long time ago, and I was not assigned a Blackberry). Both at this organization, and long since from people in all walks of life, Blackberry is one of the few "devices" where users actually resist the newer, "better" alternatives. This suggests to me that the Blackberry was one of the few devices designed for human use, not just for the device wonks either born into the technology or intellectually inclined toward computer science. I'm glad I was never assigned one because I'm sure I'd still be clinging to it for dear life.

To be clear, I have no personal investment whatsoever in whether Blackberry lives or dies. In fact, I have a far higher personal financial investment in the success of Apple. If someone (whether Apple or Samsung) came out tomorrow with a phone with a physical keyboard that could do everything (or most of the things) that I like about the Blackberry as a work instrument, and still have all the upside of apps and music and all those sorts of entertainment uses, then I would pounce on that phone faster than a cougar on a crippled chicken.
I will go with whatever works for me. For instance, I love my iPad pro (with pencil) and use the thing multiple times a day to mark-up documents. If Apple went down the shitter tomorrow, I would be just as reluctant to give up my iPad Pro because of how important it is to my productivity.

Peck, I use a Galaxy Note 5, a Galaxy Note 10.1 and a Galaxy Note 12 pro the same way. Once you mark up a deposition or mark up photos those tools become indispensable.
But this thread has ALWAYS been about personal choice. The OP (Nate) just isn't happy with anyone else's because he truly loves Apple.
When you're a hammer, everything is a nail.
And that's perfectly fine.
BTW, I loved my Blackberry, but I love the biggest screen landscape I currently have.

Peck, you're a smart guy and understand and mostly agree with everything you've said. I even understand some peoples need for a physical keyboard. I've become insanely good at using the iPhone keypad and the combination of iOS v10 and it's preemptive word suggestion and fast typing speed, I can crank out text as fast on my iPhone than I can on my MacBook. MANY of us just are used to whatever we're used to, be it Windows, OSX, iOS, Blackberry, or whatever. It has been MY experience that Apple people are the most enthusiastic of the bunch and I like that, but to each their own tools.

I desperately need to grab an iPad Pro, the smaller one and the Apple Pencil/iPad combo really is epic. Brilliant hardware for sure!

I'm pretty sure... hopefully sure, that Peck knows I'm just playin'. No ill will was ever intended.

A genteel retiree named Peck

Fancied himself a tobacco lord.

He bragged about his huge cellar

Till the entire forum got bored.
