If I hadn't just bought my Winslow dublin a few days ago, probably would have grabbed all three as well.

Shipped and last seen in Myrtle Beach, the brown clown site says Chuck will be handing me a package on Monday.

I have the wizard, you'll definitely enjoy them. I grabbed one of the reverse calabashes just to see how the reverse configuration performed before buying a briar one....and because I'm a big nerd and am a sucker for special editions!

Mine too! Ordered an amber Danish stem to give it a different look from Missouri Meerschaum yesterday.

The stems come with a wooden but to so swapping them out is a pice of cake, you need to break the lacquer seal on the button of your Wasp when you get it so you can clean the Calabash chamber, don't forget to cleanly any sawdust residue in the bowl and chamber and ensure the internal draft is clean, often a segment of wood is left on the top and a smokers knife should pop it free. Enjoy those babies.

Saw them on Instagram and I liked the look of them. I was excited to see them on SPC. Figured they'd be the average high end cob of around $35. I was greatly disappointed and shocked to see they're $50. I just can't justify that for a cob. To me it seems like price gauging.

I still smoke my first cob that I bought back in '91, so longevity alone justified the price to me. A couple of hundred dollars for a piece of wood and plastic seems insane to me, even though I have done it myself.

This was the response that I got from SPC about the stem removal.
Hi Duane,
The stem has an accent piece on it and you just pull the stem gently off and then reattach, the 3rd photo of the pipe shows the connection piece as well.

booker, as with any stem connection be it standard or Reverse Calabash in style it gets tight while being smoked and only when cool is there any chance of the stem assembly of the Wasp falling out, it has happened to me twice.
