Mixing SG Glow Golden Glow and HH Pure Virginia

I don't like the sour / bitter feeling of HH. On the other hand I don't like how soft the Golden is.
Since I have both in a good amount stored, I thought they were somehow compatible to get the good of both.
The result: I got something that I liked, not sweet, something dry. I will keep trying.

I did not like Golden Glow at all, and it was a 10 y.o. tin, so I mixed it with Dan Sweet Vanilla Honeydew 50/50.
Now it is at least tolerable, the vanilla got toned down and added some sweetness to the Golden Glow.
