For about one and a half years I got out of smoking pipes. I tried vaping instead. I didn't like vaping, cough, cough. So I have come back to my pipes. I had this problem with Eliquid bottles that I'll never use again.

Problem solved. Today I had a small bag of Presbytyrian which I didn't like, so I put a squirt of root beer eliquid in the bag and weighed for a few hours. Then tried it. No, the presbytyrian did't taste like root beer, but it didn't taste like presbytyrian either. Which for me was a good thing.

Now you can use Eliquids as a topping for pipe tobacco. Just think, after dinner at night you can sit down with a nice bole of Dragons Blood. My favorite flavor was pumpkin pie. Wish I could get that already blended.

I don't think I'd want to mix my vape stuff with my tobacco. E liquid is very goopy, I can't imagine it would help my tobacco stay lit.

I'm sure the taste could be good for folks who like aromatics, but I definitely don't trust all the chemicals in that stuff. Not worth it to me.

This just a flat out bad idea. E-liquids are safe enough when used properly but putting it on pipe tobacco and burning it is a long way from "use as directed". E-liquids are intended to be heated but not burned.

I'll take a pass on dumping root beer or any other liquid on my pipe tobacco... but, on occasion I do like to take some Garrett snuff and put it on top of the tobacco and light up for a quick hit of nicotine as I begin my smoke. The flavor the snuff adds burns off quickly.

Not for me, WD40 perhaps, I put that shit on everything.

If it's made of PG which they use as a topping on goopy aro's, I can't see it being much worse than smoking goopy aro's. In most e-liquids though there's that chemical that leads to "popcorn lung" so I wouldn't recommend doing it.

E-liquids also have glycerine in them, and flavorings, which are fairly benign but I don't know if burning them is problematic or not. However even if the ingredients were utterly harmless on all counts I'm not sure I see much point in adding e-liquid to pipe tobacco, especially aros which have enough goop problems as it is.
