About a year ago I read a post written by one of our fellow pipers. He shared his experience and I tried it. I have been collecting all of my "just a little bit left" NON AROMATIC tobaccos together in one jar. I also added some tobaccos I tried and did not particularly like for a variety of reasons. So far, I have added (not inclusive): Walnut, Prince Albert, Sir Walter Raleigh, Holiday, Gentleman Caller, Burley and Brights, Classic Virginia, etc. I have been smoking the mixture. It is great. I am surprised at the end result. Rob

That is so funny, I have been wanting to make a post like this. I also read a post about doing this and started one myself.
Is there a reason why you went with NON AROMATIC?

Redbeard: I did the same thing with my Aro's. I have a little SWR Aromatic, some vanilla this and maple that. All was going great until i bought a tin of Stanwell Vanilla. I tried a few bowls of the stuff after airing it out a bit. It is the worst tobacco I ever had. instead of trading it, I thought I would add it to my Aro mystery tub. The Stanwell ruined the tub. So off I start again with the Aro's.

I mix a bit of PA in with everything but my highland whiskey. It really helps the cravings. I'm also saving the last bit of all the different tobaccos I'm trying in a jar marked Odds and Ends. It smells great and I know that I liked everything that's in there so it should be stellar.
