Thanks! I do love Latakia. Being a cheapo I’m not eager to fall in love with a $5/oz tobacco so I’ll give it a shot one of these days but not right now.
I got my one (and probably only) tin of it when I first started, and had no idea what kind of Pandora’s box I was opening. Now I buy bulks to sample, and stock up on with a few tins tossed in here and there to “treat myself”.
“Country Gentleman” was ok, but just a gateway to better, more affordable VaPers. YMMV

Yeah I’m also a bulk stocker. Just ordered Ashton's Aristan Blend and Pirate Kake which are my first tins in ages. The one exception is Sillem's Black which I got hooked on too early, but I’m not sad about that.

It pains me to say this, as a MM cob was my first pipe and I generally just like MM as company, but the two MM blends I tried, Country Gentleman and Great Dane, didn't really stand out to me. Rather bland. But I haven't tried any of their tinned tobaccos. Perhaps those are better.
