Hello all, and my apologies if a thread or comment already exists on this topic. I attempted to search for the answer and after some time of reading and looking, I thought I'd just come out with the question.

That being said, does anyone have any recommendations or thoughts on a blend that is similar or close to the Country Squire "Mirkwood". I unfortunately never got the chance to jump on it and try it for myself, but would like to have a similar experience.

Thanks for all your time and thoughts!

I’m not sure if this answers your question exactly, but Mirkwood is now called Dark Holler. According to their website, there will be another release of it in January 2025.

Dark Holler is a great blend! I chanced upon it this year and glad I did. All gone now. I'll probably try again next January. It sold out in a day.

You could always just call Jon David Cole, the owner of The Country Squire, and ask him nicely to have one of his people make you four or five ounces.

Seriously, just call them and ask what they have that is close to Mirkwood/Dark Holler. The Country Squire has a large book of recipes they have used over the years.

Oh yea, I forgot that all their middle earth blends went under a name change. I shouldn't be surprised that Mirkwood fell into that category as well.
