I would look at what the Dagners have to offer. They have some short thick walled pipes that are nice.

Shaintiques, I actually just stumbled upon Dagner. I kind of dig the cross between classic and modern that they have going on. The skull and crossed pipes logo is a nice touch, even if it is a bit gimmicky. I think a pipe from them is destined for my collection at some point either way.

I'm not a huge fan of Peterson pipes, but I like the Belgiques, and they are small bowls but longer shanks. Good for a shorter smoke and decent shapes. I imagine the quality is better than their system pipes as it is easier to drill.
