I don't care for Get Piped's sense of humor but I might have to watch this one
I didn't think I'd get all choked up and misty eyed over this, but I sure did. A beautiful eulogy for the longest standing but now crumbled pillar of American pipe tobacco.
Every time the narrator said ‘American tobacco’ each of my balls got 1mm larger in diameter.
As someone that loves history, collecting antiques and appreciates things of the past when times were simpler; it saddens me to see a company with such a long standing history come to a close. Especially the way it did. It's very unfortunate for the people that lost their jobs, and the Richmond community as a whole; not to mention all of us that have enjoyed Sutliff tobacco's for so many years.
Not my style either but I think he's a good dude and means well. This one was a miss for me though. His breakdown around the 11:00 mark makes me think the documentary is from the future....
Agreed, I'll take him over somebody like Pipe Cottage or George Bruno any day.
I’m all about guns and tobacco, but yeah that was weird. Never have been a fan of his content.
